CFA Society seeks hedge fund talent for second Pink Book

The CFA Society South Africa has started collecting ‘show of interest’ submissions for its second Pink Book, which profiles leading women in the financial services industry.

The deadline for Pink Book submissions is June 30, and it is hoping to launch the publication in August.

According to Thando Mlambo, marketing and communications coordinator for the CFA Society South Africa, 56 women were featured in its 2023 Pink Book, and it is aiming to feature 100 women in the publication this year.

“We are aiming for a wider reach this year, and look forward to including more women from the hedge fund community,” she said. “The publication showcases a variety of experienced women professionals in the South African investment industry across influential investment, business and client roles. We aim to inspire the pipeline of female talent to ascend into senior roles by displaying profiles of senior women role models in the industry who have paved the way.”

To be considered for inclusion, women must have at least 10 years’ industry experience, and hold C-suite positions in management, heads of divisions or portfolio management currently working in the investment industry, and potentially also those working on the sell side.
