REGIVE Capital is a Johannesburg-based financial services firm founded in 2018, providing discretionary investment management and advisory services to institutional investors. The firm specialises in alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, structured products and private market solutions. REGIVE Capital develops tailored investment solutions through multi-manager absolute return portfolios, protected equity portfolios and pooled private market portfolios. Its investment approach combines specialist managers, structured products, direct investments, co-investments and private market funds to meet different risk and return objectives.
The firm’s purpose is to mobilise institutional capital to support long-term value creation, job creation and Africa’s development, with a focus on opportunities across markets undergoing economic and governance reforms.

Absolute Return Portfolios
SMARt Portfolio (Simple Multi-strategy Absolute Return):
A flagship multi-strategy portfolio targeting CPI + 4% per annum over a rolling 36 months, with a focus on capital preservation over shorter periods. Live track
record since July 2022.

Equity Hedged Portfolio: An equity-focused strategy seeking to outperform the Capped All Share Index over a rolling 36 months through a combination
of ETFs, structured products and equity-focused hedge fund strategies. Live since August 2024.

Fixed Income Hedged Portfolio: A fixed-income strategy seeking to outperform the All Bond Index over a rolling 36 months through ETFs, structured products, income funds and fixed-income hedge fund strategies.

Private Market Solutions

GUGULETHU Private Equity Fund of Funds: A multi-strategy hybrid private market fund investing through direct investments, co-investments and specialist private market funds. The fund is closed to new investors.

SOWETO Private Debt Fund: A purpose-driven seven-year private debt fund
targeting CPI + 4-5% per annum over a rolling five-year period. The fund achieved its first close at approximately R100 million in 2025, with more than
30% of committed capital deployed and a pipeline of investment opportunities. The fund is targeting a second close of R500 million and it is still open to
new investors.

Protected Equity Portfolios
REGIVE Capital manages protected equity portfolios using structured products with customised payment profiles, designed to provide short-term capital preservation while seeking long-term benchmark outperformance. The firm’s longest-running protected equity portfolio has been live since March 2022.
