Investment approach
Coronation’s singular firm-wide investment philosophy and approach are applied across all our hedge fund strategies. We are long-term, valuation-driven investors, using rigorous bottom-up fundamental research to identify long, short, relative-value and arbitrage opportunities. These insights are implemented through disciplined position sizing and efficient use of derivatives with the objective of delivering attractive risk adjusted returns.
Investment team
We operate as an integrated global team comprising 50 professionals across our South African Equity, Fixed Income, Global Developed and Global Emerging Markets teams. Our open and collaborative environment encourages rigorous debates and the sharing of insights across teams. Portfolio managers and analysts are further supported by our in-house economist and dedicated dealing and implementation team.
