About Symmetry’s fund of hedge funds
The Old Mutual Multi-Managers Diversified RI Hedge Fund of Funds (to be renamed to Symmetry, subject to regulatory approval) is a multi-strategy hedge fund designed to provide superior risk-adjusted returns and long-term capital growth with lower volatility compared to traditional asset classes. The fund invests across a diversified range of retail hedge funds managed by selected specialist managers, with the flexibility to use the expansive hedge fund tools and strategies in pursuit of capital preservation and consistent long-term returns. The fund targets performance of STeFI + 4% net of fees over rolling 36-month periods.

Investment team
The fund is managed by Symmetry’s highly experienced investment team. Combining expertise in portfolio management, manager research, quantitative analysis, asset allocation and investment strategy, the team follows a rigorous investment process underpinned by robust manager research, disciplined portfolio construction and comprehensive risk management. Collectively, the team brings more than 150 years of industry experience, with an average of 15 years’ industry experience per investment professional, and is focused on delivering consistent long-term risk-adjusted outcomes for investors. The team is further strengthened by its strategic partnership with Russell Investments, providing access to global investment insights, manager research and best-practice portfolio construction expertise that enhances the investment process and supports better client outcomes.
