Dedicated alternative fund administration services
Our dedicated alternative fund administration services include portfolio administration (fund accounting), and registrar and transfer agency services (including investor reporting). Prescient also offers best-of-industry regulated hedge fund accounting, including equalisation and series accounting methodologies, deemed income equalisation, distributions, total expense ratio reporting and independent valuation and pricing methodologies. Reporting is based on industry standards, regulatory requirements and client needs. Our dedicated team allows us to put forward the very best in the industry in
terms of dedicated hedge fund experience, the right staff and the right focus on servicing our hedge fund clients with the very best relationship-based approach.

Platform services and management company solutions
Through Prescient Management Company (Pmanco), a South African-registered management company under the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 2002 (CISCA), Prescient offers co-naming platform services for investment managers looking to launch their own traditional, hedge and exchange-traded funds. Pmanco also hosts distribution of foreign collective investment schemes in South Africa by offering CISCA Section 65 Representative Office Services, which includes pre-submission reviews, submission processes with the regulator, offering ongoing compliance support and services across traditional and hedge funds.

Risk services
Prescient offers risk services to its global client base. Our risk services offering includes CISCA Board Notice 52 risk reporting services based on daily NAV data, reconciled to counterparty sources positioned to support clients by providing the infrastructure and performing key control functions required to help managers meet regulatory obligations. Prescient also provides risk services to global fund platform structures.

IT & INFRASTRUCTURE
Our global administration business uses Eagle Investment Systems (a BNY Mellon company) for portfolio administration that includes fund accounting, data management, data warehousing and performance. This system runs via a secure, private cloud hosted in Boston, US. PFS also uses T-Cube as its investor ledger record-keeping system and StatPro Portfolio Control is utilised for post-trade compliance monitoring and reporting. PFS also integrates with front-office systems for pre- and post-trade compliance, portfolio modelling, decision support and order management.
